We set up an initial interview where Mike visited our house to get a feel where things were at and of course to meet Lucas. (Lucas immediately gave Mike several kisses). After our first sitting, we were very impressed with the level of service we received.  Mike took our dog on long walks and followed all our picky instructions diligently. He also kept us updated on our dog via text messages which was very pleasing.  We have found Little Characters to be very convenient and affordable. Consequently, all three also get home cooked meals twice each day!  Our dog sitter Michael was up and running after one visit.  He learned the ins and outs of walking blind dogs for whom their daily walks are a crucial part of their exercise AND enjoyment of life.  He is also an excellent cook!   On our last trip Michael even offered to drive my sister who was in babysitting our children to the airport after realizing that she needed a ride.
